Does anyone know any cheap Drum Cymbal packs or sets?
Well, i bought drums off of Craigslist 3 days ago. I got the stands for a crash cymbal and hi-hats. Im currently looking to find cheap Hi-hats and a crash. I believe the starter cymbals are a 18" Crash and 13-14" Hi-hats. They don’t need to be that measurement, i am just trying to find some cheap sets, because i can’t really afford the ones around 0-0

try checking out http://www.midwestpercussion.com. they usually have free shipping and will sometimes have deals on sets of cymbals. check out sabian B8 series, those are pretty cheap. maybe check out ebay too for some worn/used cymbals. people will sell cracked cymbals for very cheap, and they sound pretty good if the crack is properly taken care of and stopped.
The rule concerning cymbals is to go to the store and try them all out yourselves. However, with starters, they probably all sound the same. So what I would recommend would be NOT to buy bad absolutely lowest level cymbals, such as Zildjian Planet Z, Paiste 101, Sabian Solar, or any kind of Tama, Pearl cymbal (they make drums and hardware, not cymbals). The reason is that somewhere down the line you may very well be playing gigs. And these cymbals will actually make you sound bad, so a step above these is a good investment if you actually want your cymbals to be usable in public.
Sabian B8 – great cymbals for the price. Excellent articulation, moderately bright. I’ve had these for 7 years, with no problems. These can be used for both rock and jazz. The hi-hats and rides are great, but the crashes are a little insubstantial, especially the smaller ones which start to sound like a trash can lid. Since you are looking for Hi-Hats, I can’t recommend a better pair than the B8. I’ve played these next to Paiste 802 Hi-Hats (a higher tier cymbal), and I must say that the B8 Hi-Hats are almost studio worthy. Loud when used half-opened trashy, a strong cutting open/close, good articulation (though not as nice as Zildjian K Hi-Hats).
This is a great deal if you want a lot of cymbals: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Sabian-B8-Cymbal-Super-Set-104390539-i1386078.gc
However, this is what you specifically requested:

Unfortunately, it is slightly above your budget.
I would also recommend checking out Paiste PST3 (cheaper than Sabian B8s) and PST5, but I’ve personally had a good experience with my B8s.
From Zildjian, the ZHT would be a good bet, though it may be out of reach for you in terms of money (the ZXT and ZBT are cheaper, but are extremely bright and probably only good for loud rock).
Bottom line: Sabian B8 (Hi-Hat) and some other type of crash, such as Paiste PST3 (PST5 if you have the $). Try it at Guitar Center first, then get it off Craigslist/Ebay.
