What are names of Good drum sets

I’m not beginner when it comes to drums. Ive been taking lessons for about 8 years. I’m in a band. And i have a Yamaha set including (hi-hat, crash, 2 upper toms, a floor tom, a base drum, and a snare) It cost about 600$ i think. I also have a newer crash and a splash (why do I even have one?). Its a decent set but I was looking to purchase a new one. I dont want any cheap sets or begginer ones. What are the names of some top of the line kits. I dont mean like 5000$ kits but something good. Something nearing proffesional grade that is pretty damn good but not the best.

NAMM 2008 Electronic Drums: RET Percussion

I was honored by an invitation to join RET Percussion in introducing the first software based, custom shop drum kit at the 2008 NAMM show. We were all proud to release the latest in electronic percussion, the Virtual Percussion Technology Package. This next generation design recreates the real feel of an acoustic drum in an electronic instrument, triggering great software sounds like BFD and EZDrummer. We’ve got many more videos and LOTS of information for you! Featured in this video: Mikey Marcial (MikeyVPT), Tony Royster Jr., David Palmer (Rod Stewart), Brett Batdorf, Scott Speer (RET Client), and a few others. Check us out: www.retpercussion.com -mikey

Homemade Electronic Drum Kit:Coltronics Kit-e

This is my homemade electronic drum set. I call it the Coltronics Kit-e (“Kitty”). I made this video to show how I put it all together in case you might be thinking about making your own electronic drum kit. I came up with my own design. It started with a piezoelectric transducer soldered to a couple of wires and connected to a quarter inch phone jack. By trial-and-error, it morphed into what youre seeing in this video. Ive had it for a number of years but its held up well. Im pleased with its design. Its compact. It works well. It was relatively inexpensive to put together using materials that are fairly easy to obtain. So check out the video. I hope it gives you some ideas.
